It reads your camera roll, identifies what's worth making, edits the footage, and hands you a final video ready to post. No timeline scrubbing. No app-switching. No editing skills required.
The role
You are the first technical hire. You build the product.
That means picking the stack, making architecture calls, and writing the code. The founder runs vision, fundraising, and growth. You own everything technical and will be lead engineer for the life of the company.
Ship v1. A working app that reads a user's camera roll, understands the footage, selects the best clips, edits them together, and delivers a finished video ready to post. Done. Shipped.
Skills that help
- ML/AI engineering, especially video understanding and computer vision
- Mobile development (iOS strongly preferred)
- Experience with video processing and editing pipelines
- Comfortable integrating LLM and vision APIs (Anthropic, OpenAI, or similar)
- Able to move fast without a team around you
Where this goes
The goal is category leadership in AI-powered video creation. We are building toward an acquisition or Series B in 3 years. The acquirers are obvious: Adobe, Canva, Meta, Google. The window to build this is right now.
Compensation
Competitive base salary, performance bonus, and founding-level equity. Numbers are based on your experience. This is the kind of equity that matters if we hit the exit we are building toward.
